Welcome back for day Five of the 12 days of Christmas.   I hope you are having fun with each day's new surprise!!! Today's freebie is an add on to my most sewn pattern.  The Everything But The Kitchen Sink (EBTKS) Henley.  This pattern is my go to pattern for everything.  Need a pink shirt for Friday, BAM.  Need new pajams, BAM.  Need new clothes becasue mama is just too tried to do laundry, BAM!  Ha!  But in all seriousness I've make and remake this pattern for every season, in every size that my children grow into, and in every fabric...

This summer has been quite the adventure for our family.  We've enjoyed camp fires, kickball, too many hot dogs to count, and the sanctuary of the community pool. Mack has always been our fish, and we decided to let her try out swim team this year.  She has grown a ton in confidence and ability in the last 5 weeks... and I have learned that swimmers need a TON of swimsuits, HA!  The Fly Girl Racing Suit simply came out of need.  We joined the team too late to order a team suit, and honestly Mack just doesn't fit traditional...

I am so excited to chat a bit about the Tidewater tee with you all today! I had amazing testers on this pattern and without them it would not have been possible at all.  These testers went above an beyond - many sewing up 3 or more tops, and constantly looking for ways to help me improve the pattern and instructions so that they would be easy to follow for even the most novice seamstress.  As their pictures flooded in, I got the idea that it would probably be helpful for people to see how the pattern changes depending on...

We all have a favorite pattern - you know the one you go to when you've lost your 'sew jo', the one that every time you wear it you just feel AWESOME, and the one you have made enough times that you no longer have to reference the instructions.   Well, for me this year, that pattern has been The Magnolia.  Magnolia tops, Magnolia tunics, Magnolia dresses - I've made, worn, and love them all.
