-------------------
When I first saw that the Magnolia Fit and Flare pattern had been updated to include a larger size range and a projector file, I wanted to make a dress.
Then I thought about how I never really wear the dresses that I sew. I am more of a jeans and t-shirt type of person. So, I decided to go with the shirt. I chose option C. This option is the shirttail front and back hem.
I am super happy with the length and it is perfect to pair with leggings.
I used a Pointelle Jersey Knit from The Fabric Snob for this top. This fabric is so soft and comfy. . The burnt orange color is not one that I usually wear, but it turned out to be perfect for my skin tone.
The pattern comes together quickly and includes very detailed directions. I had to do a swayback adjustment for my perfect fit. This adjustment was easy to accomplish since the back is cut as mirror images rather than on the fold.
Next time I think I will make a long sleeve version with a high low hem.
Don’t forget to grab your copy before the sale ends.
Happy Sewing !!!
