Happy 9th Day of Christmas!!!
This month is just flying by and her we are on the 9th day of Christmas. In case your 'to do' list is piling up and the stress is creeping in along the edges, today I have a FREE gift for you. I hope it puts a little smile on your face and some joy to face the day!
Today's FREE pattern is the All Over It Bowl Cover.
(Get the code in our FB group HERE)
This cover is a beginner friendly quick sew for woven fabrics and is a great way to reduce plastics in your life by making your own bowl covers to store items that you would typically cover with plastic wrap.
Sizing:
This pattern has 4 sizes that are somewhat flexible (use the drawstring option for more flexibility in the sizing). All sizes are based on the diameter of the dish.
*Make sure you are measuring the diameter including the width of the lip of the bowl, not just the interior.*
Super 16-20 inch
XLarge 12-15 inch
Large 9.5-12 inch
Medium 8-9.5 inch
Small 7-8 inch
We have guest bloggers here to share their own Bowl Covers.
Diane of Sewing with D made these great covers using your standard quilting cotton and then putting iron on vinyl on the wrong side. This is such a great way to make it easy to wipe your covers down and not worry about staining your fabrics! Diane finished off her edges with bias tape, That lemon fabric just has me thinking happy thoughts!!!
Laurie of the Bear and the Pea Atelier has also whipped up her own 'All Over It' and is talking about the importance of sustainability over on her blog today!!!! Can I reach through the screen and grab some of that popcorn???? Check out her blog and find out how you can take easy steps to a greener lifestyle.
We love trying to find ways to sew green here at WWD. We have a couple other free patterns that you are going to love that help reduce waste and also make great gifts!!!
